1. Los papás: que desean bautizar a su niño/a deben registrarse en la oficina de la Iglesia 4 meses antes del día que desean bautizar. Ustedes deberán llenar una forma de registro y cumplir con lo siguiente: PADRES Necesitan ser miembros registrados de nuestra parroquia, si no son necesitan traer una carta de permiso de su parroquia. (Excepto si su parroquia se encuentra en Santa Fe Springs, Norwalk o Whittier.

2. PADRINOS: necesitan ser católicos y tener todos los Sacramentos de Iniciación. (Bautismo, Primera comunión y confirmación.) y ser mayores de 16 años. Si los padrinos son pareja, necesitan estar casados por la Iglesia Católica y presentar certificado de matrimonio en la oficina.

3. CLASES PRE-BAUTISMALES: Los papás y padrinos deben tomar la clase en linea. www. lacatholics.org/baptism/

4. EDAD DEL NIÑO/A: Normalmente los niños deben ser bautizados tan pronto nacen para que reciban la gracia de Dios desde su infancia. Algunas veces los niños mas grandecitos tienen miedo de pasar esa experiencia, sin embargo, estamos dispuestos a bautizar hasta los 6 años. Después de la edad de 7 años, se tendrá que registrar para asistir al catecismo por un año y medio aproximadamente para poder ser bautizado y estará preparado para la Primera Comunión.

5. DIAS DE BAUTISMOS: Los Bautismos en grupo se celebran un sábado al mes a las 3:30pm. Favor de ver el calendario de fechas de bautismo.

6.  DONACION PARA LOS BAUTISMOS EN GRUPO es de $60. SI CANCELA EL BAUTISMO NO HABRÁ REMBOLSO. NO EXCEPCIONES.

Congratulations on the birth of your child!

1. Parents: wishing to baptize their child need to stop by the parish office 4 months before the date they wish to baptize. Parents need to be registered members of our parish, or if they are not, they need to bring a letter of permission from their own parish, (except if their parish is in Santa Fe Springs, Norwalk or Whittier).

2. Godparents: have to be Catholics and have received all the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, communion and confirmation), must be a least 16 years old, if they are a couple, they must be married in the Catholic Church.

3. PRE-BAPTISM CLASSES: Parents and Godparents must take an on-line class. www.lacatholics.org/baptism/

4. AGE OF CHILDREN: Children should normally be baptized as soon after birth as possible, to receive God’s grace as early in life as possible. Also, the older a child gets, the more frightened they sometimes become by the experience. Nevertheless, we can baptize children up to the age 6 years old. After the age of 7 years old, the child must be registered for our catechism program and attend catechism classes for approximately a year and a half to be baptized. At that time, they will also receive their First Communion.

5. DAYS OF BAPTISM: Are held one Saturday a month at 3:30pm. Check attached schedule for baptism day.

6. GROUP BAPTISM DONATION: is $60 IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL NO REFUND WILL BE MADE. NO EXCEPTION.

PRIVATE BAPTISM

**IF YOU DECIDE FOR A PRIVATE BAPTISM THE DONATION WILL BE $300. YOU WILL NEED $100 DEPOSIT. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL OR MOVE THE DATE NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE ON YOUR DEPOSIT ($100) **
